The Team
Team Leader
Angelika Namdar
She is a spatial planner, with more than 25 years of experience in various fields of work and positions, with responsibilities in: research and planning; strategic planning; policy development; curriculum development; project development, implementation, monitoring and management, in Surinamese and international teams. She gained experienced by working in the private and public sectors and at higher education institutions.
She has an international network of contacts based and is member of different local, regional and international professional organizations.
Zenith Consultancy is supported by a pool of local and international experts, each with more than 20 years of experience within their own specialisation.
All individual members of the team have:
Management experience in decision making positions
Teaching and research experience at tertiary education level
Experience with project development
Implementation and monitoring
Engineering experience
A national, regional and/or international track record.
Our Experience
Accumulated knowledge and experiences become part of the present and the future. Some of our projects over the past 3 years
Ambrosius Bees, chasing its dream.
We supported Ambrosius Bees with the developed of a framework for its multiannual growth of in the field of farming and apiculture. This included the formulation of a business plan, considerations of infrastructure improvement, research in line with improving cultivation techniques and the operations and processes.
We also successfully applied for funding within the Surge Growth Enterprises (SURGE) program of the Government of Suriname for the expansion and strengthening of the honey production and production of by-products. And as a spin off, an export contract has been concluded with a European customer for the coming year.
Currently we are working aiming the ISO 22000 certification and therefor currently working on the necessities therefor.
Enhancing Spatial Planning and Environment Policy and Legislation
We supported the Ministry of Spatial Planning and Environment intensively with the research design and research implementation for the formulation of the Spatial Planning Act, the draft Spatial Development vision for Suriname and the Land use Standards for Suriname.
We then provided support in the data processing and interpretation phase and during stakeholders and validation activities.
Currently the Land use Standards for Suriname are published and in effect. The spatial development vision and Spatial Planning Act are submitted to the Parliament of Suriname for approval.
Go with the flow of nature
The aim of Eco-zenz is to promote environmental awareness, in order to create a harmonious living environment.
Eco-zenz is active in two branches, namely the Giant flower decoration and the Eco-zenz Resort.
We supported Eco-zenz with the design and landscaping of its private resort, located at Snowhills in Para. It was important to include the existing topography and vegetation in the design. Sustainability, privacy, hygiene and sanitation where key parameters in the design.
Eco-zenz Resort also facilitates educational and professional activities.
